Johnnie Walker Blue Label - Smart Bottle
To help Johnnie Walker increase gifting during Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons, We created the Johnnie Walker Smart Bottle. An interactive Johnnie Walker bottle that utilised iBeacon to connect the bottles with a gift givers through their WeChat app.
Through the app, gift givers were able to create custom messages unique to the bottle they bought. After a friend receives the gift, they simply used WeChat’s exiting “Shake” function to find the bottle on WeChat and see interactive message from gift giver.
This is the first time Johnnie Walker China used iBeacon technology to create a better user experience and connect people in a meaningful way: keep walking.
