Evan Johan is creator and curator of the always comical and informative The Vancouver Nacho Blog. In this blog, you follow Evan as he visits local Vancouver area restaurants and pubs in search of the perfect plate of triangular-shaped delight. After Evan published his 9th or so blog entry, he decided that he wanted to raise the bar and brand his blog. I worked with Evan to create his logo, which he wanted to be fun, humble, and self-explanatory. I began with the essence of the blog itself, the tortilla chip, and then followed that with some appropriately styled custom type backed with bright and warm colours.
I once accompanied Evan on one such of these nacho trips, which took us down to Local Eatery (read the full review here). This where I shot the photos of the nachos and the Local eatery sign (below).
