BELTS
Vilanova and Tiffosi are Portuguese fast fashion brands. Vilanova works with accessories and Tiffosi is a clothing brand for Men, Woman and Kids, both brands belong to the VNG Group.
Villanova is where I entered the accessories world, and didn’t got out of that road ever since. I was a textile and non-textile designer, in charge of designing belts, sunglasses, shawls, scarves, hats and caps, hair accessories and winter accessories, such as beanies, gloves, scarves and collars.
As an accessories designer for both brands, my creative methods had to be different for each brand. For Vilanova, the collections were all designed by us, so we had a lot more space to create and do different and more innovative items, but not for Tiffosi. As an accessories designer toa a clothing brand, I always had to adapt my vision to the collection that was being developed, my role there was to complement the collection.
