Watching the film I have seen the emergence of three modalities from the Greimas' narrative canonical schema: competence, performance and sanction. I have notices how these modalities develop in the film in a complementary way into the three characters. The 3D model displays then a characterization of the agents in the three moments in which the film has been divided. We can single out an axis running from a subject fully modalized, "active" (Cathrine) to a subject de-modalized, "passive" (Jules), passing through a "reflective" subject (Jim).
