One common misconception about user experience design is that it's limited to the confines of our computer--that a "user" is just someone interacting with a website, app, or software. When designing this 8'x8' conference banner, I thought about where people would look first, whether they were standing in front of it or across the room. I utilized white space to emphasize certain elements and create balance. "Content is King" as the phrase goes, so I placed the company logo, website address, and company offerings at eye-level, and I incorporated icons for extra emphasis.
