The concept behind this font was to make something by changing one part of a letter’s structure. I originally wanted to do something where a part of the letter is splitting off into smaller pieces. While playing with the software, I realized I could do a pattern instead of breaking it down. The pattern was black and white slashes that reminded me of caution tape, so I switched parts out with this pattern and then kept the letters bulky to seem more industrial. For my word choices, I chose words that I could see the font being used in, like police stations. I thought it could be used for wording in factories or signage in hazardous sites. It also could work for words used in a scientific context. I also chose some regular words just to try out some letters together.
