My resort 2013 collection was inspired by the country of Morocco. I was specifically drawn towards the floor tiles and the patterns they create due to the repetition. The color palate I chose was bright colors, focusing on the complementary colors of orange and blue. I excel in mixing different prints and textiles so I decided to construct flowy, basic silhouettes, making the silk printed fabric the main focus. My target customer is a girl in her mid-twenties who isn’t afraid to stand out. She wants to be the center of attention and by wearing any of these garments; I believe she will achieve that.
