The Project

This project was made during the course specialization and specialization and directed workshops. So, I decide to try doing something risky and make the base economy of a MMORPG. However, I know I could not make the player market. So, the objective for me was to set up the levelling and guttering item, to ultimately find the time take by the player too rich a precise level.   

Objectives of the Project

This project is a try, for crating the base economies of MMRPG. The main objectives were to determine the time taken for players to reach max power levels. Then calibrate all the drop system to make it a reasonable time. 

In this way I wanted to have a good idea of the elements and / or obstacle to link to the creation of such an economy.

I really wanted to make this project an educational project. that's why the result was less important to me than the knowledge I can draw from it.
My Process

I start by creating a board to find how many enemies must be killed to level up. Then make a board to find the maximum ratio of enemies beatable by hours and by the map zone. The goal of this was to get an idea of how fast the player can kill a number of enemies and ultimately get the time necessary for the player to upgrade.
Then at the time needed by the player to kill a number of enemies I can make a weapon drop generator that will give an idea of how long it takes for the player to get certain type of item.    
     
Power level

Power level was a solution to get a good idea of how much time the player has to invest in the game to get a certain level of strength. With the power level not only, I can know how long the player take for rich, max level and max power level.
What I Will Change

One of the things a wanted to do was to test was a player market and in game consumables. But not having enough knowledge of programming, I can’t make a prototype that keeps online data base where I can have different players that sell or buy objects on a player market.
