I loved working on this project. Not only did I get to work with one of my favorite sales people, I was able to work with a good friend on this project as she is the main person in charge of advertising for Masonic Helping Hands. Once she found out I was working for the newspaper, she gave me total creative freedom with the ad and told the sales person that she knew it would be in good hands. Below is what came from that.

Her description of what she wanted was something a little dramatic, something with flair that would stand out from the rest of the crowd of traditional newspaper ads. She would like to stay with the orange and blue color scheme of the logo yet spice it up a bit. She also explained to me that her target audience WASN'T the elderly that were going to be helped, but the children of the elderly. So I had to keep that in mind that target them. I think I pulled that off well.
