Advanced Content Editor
This project encompassed an editor for a highly customized (white labeled) event management system. It allows non-technically users to build and manage micro-sites, including editing "master" templates to manage pages in bulk.
The widget based approach serves to let the user embed deep application functionality such as feeds, forms, etc into the site alongside the content.
The primary problem was to allow for stellar pages out of the box, while still supporting high levels of customization for power users
Workflow
Paper -> HTML/CSS/JS protoype for initial user acceptance testing and demo purposes.
Once the project formally kicked off, we reset and refined designs in Sketch, delivering design along side a contract development team.
Testing
- Concept validation with current and prospect customers at the prospect stage
- Reverse card sort of IA & navigation
- Iterative usability testing of release candidates
