Crozet Coffee is a small business based in Crozet, Virginia who has fully embraced the local history and culture and needed an identity that would match their passion. We were thrilled to brew up a piping-hot brand design that captures this essence authentically and cleverly.

Crozet Coffee derives its name from French immigrant, Benoît "Claudius" Crozet. An early 19th-century design genius, he wrote his signature across the American landscape in a big way--from building tunnels to canals and bridges.

Claudius arrived from France in 1816. He connected the past to the future. He put trains on the ground and built tunnels to send them through mountains as shown in the photo below and encapsulated within the brand mark for this company.
