Pondicherry through weaves

Puducherry, also known as pondicherry is a city and capital of the pondicherry union territory of southern India. It was the largest french colony in India and has a mix of french and south Indian architecture. It is famous for its beautiful beaches, ashrams and of course the cuisine.
This project explores the architecture and colors of Pondicherry through different weaving techniques and materials. Pondicherry is a place famous for its pastel french colonies and spirituality. Weaving being a meditative form of art, I intend to explore the interwoven-ness of this place and the art of weaving.
