Unity House was set up as a video production company in 2011 by filmmaker Richard Shaw. They were driven by a passion for storytelling and a desire to help organisations talk to their audiences through short-form films. Although they continued to work with a lot of the same clients, 2016 saw Unity House extend their services to include photography, sound and text. This involved working with an extended family of talented digital artists.

Initial design ideas were drawn up by Unity House with further design and development on the Squarespace platform by The Printer's Son.
