Prisons are characterized by the relatively higher risk of transmission of HIV, together with lower access to health services. Substandard living conditions, overcrowding and lack of prevention, treatment and care services are major factors contributing to the increased transmission risk.
A short video highlighting the HIV and Hepatitis C situation among people who use drugs and the response, leaving no one behind!
