In 2006, I enjoyed the chance to work on this year-long campaign, from its inception through initial concepting and implementation. The starting point for my design was the Mondrian-esque look of the U.S. Radio Frequency Allocation Chart. The retro look and feel of this design was both a nod to Tektronix long history and also allowed the use of tactile elements like knobs and switches that are still common in Tektronix products today.
