Connected Solutions storefront design explorations.
In addition to the online presence, Sears deployed several Pop Up stores that features smart products and connected tech that shoppers could get hands on experience with.
Multi channel marketing support helped get the collection the awareness need to make Sears a consideration for smart product shoppers and met the demand head on.
The modular design of the pages allowed for a seamless mobile design to synch up with the desktop experience.
Several design iterations were produced as the program went from a launch of 4 categories to its final collection of 9 different categories and both mobile OS platforms.
The motivation to house these smart products came from the in house Craftsman brand team, who created the Assurelink mobile remote garage door opener seen below.
The online storefront designs were rotated in order to maximize the hype for trending and popular products
Smart Made Simple ran throughout the multi channel communication strategy.
The first of 5 Connected Solutions pop up stores was completed in the San Bruno Sears store in May of 2015. Examples of the interactive environments can be seen below.
