Exam of trapped graphic design: we had to imagine our own island and make it real through graphic representation during the course.

We had a constraint every week, and we couldn't go beyond that guidance. 

I really enjoyed making this project because i put myself on it and the result was really satisfying even if the constraints sometimes were really strict.

My favorite constraint was the third one: Soundscape, we had to define the sounds of the island and represent them typographically. I chose the Shantidesa for my island. It comes from a book i read: "Shantaram" that means peaceful man in marathi language. Shantidesa means peaceful land. I represented this sound wrote in devanagari alphabet using flower petals.

I was really proud of my project but I felt like i was missing something. The purpose of this project in my head couldn't be just the exam. We all need a purpose everytime we do something, then I decided to write a particular travel guide for my island. A travel guide that people can take and read to relax their mind, to meditate about their life journey. 

I sewed the ecological sheets together, adding a cardboard to cover the guide.
