The Hex Object
A project done for Ash Thorp's, UI and Data Design course on the Learn Squared Platform. The brief was to create an object, a kind of nebulous data construct intended to hold untold amounts of top-secret information. Characters throughout the film would be interacting with the object and it will be pivotal in conveying ideas and concepts back to the main storyline. The object would be designed to both look interesting and convey basic information to the audience and support the characters. In essence, the object would be spherical in nature with alien-like intricacies with many layers of depth and complexity to represent the wealth of secrets it may contain. Below are finished frames and concepts done for the course.
