If you’ve visited our office, you’ve followed the posters adorning the hallways to our entrance. For two decades, Jessica Weber Design, Inc. commissioned renowned artists and designed these legendary posters for The Juilliard School. The tradition began when Jessica Weber first designed viewbooks for the school’s admissions department and asked herself how to graphically represent Juilliard at a higher level than other performing arts schools. The second aspect of the challenge was to convey dance, music, and drama in one impactful image. At a time when other schools relied on literal photographs, Jessica collaborated with world-class artists, designers, and illustrators to conceptually convey creativity, opportunity, and growth. The designs were the covers of viewbooks as well as the posters seen here. We still have a few of these limited edition posters and some are signed by the artist.
