Election Unspun was a joint endeavour between the Media Standards Trust at Kings College London and Soapbox. The body of work consisted of identity design, bespoke data visualisations and publication design. On a weekly basis, for twelve weeks, in the run up to the May 2015 UK General Election, the Media Standards Trust provided data showing how the media covered the campaign, we turned that data into a series of visualisations. The results were sent out in a weekly newsletter, including three special editions and later the a selection of newsletter data with corresponding social media data was published in a report.
