Sui resti delle antiche terme dedicate a Rea Silva – ninfa protettrice della fertilità – esiste un posto “senza tempo” dove ancora oggi si conserva e si coltiva la filosofia dell’otium
che imperava nella Roma dei Cesari: il complesso termale “Stufe di Nerone”.
Un privilegio una volta riservato solo alle classi più agiate, che potevano concedersi
il lusso di prendersi del tempo per curarsi sfruttando i benefici delle acque termali
e dell’oziare anziché essere attivi nel “neg-oziare”.
Un’attività che giova al corpo e alla mente resa ancora più efficace dal suggestivo scenario naturale che le caratterizza. Un’antica “cura” recentemente riconosciuta anche dalla ricerca medica, che le Stufe di Nerone sono orgogliose di custodire.
Il progetto di restiling del marchio e della statua della venere che campeggia nel giardino delle Stufe è qui riproposto in versione acquerellata monocromatica. Questa scelta,
oltre a rendere più “leggero” e attuale il tratto, riprende anche l’elemento “acqua” che caratterizza le terme e che viene poi riproposto in tutti materiali di comunicazione.
Go to the remains of the ancient thermal baths that pay homage to the nymph, Rhea Silva – the protector of fertility –and
you will find a “timeless” place where the philosophy of leisure, which ruled Caesar’s Rome, is still preserved and nurtured:
the “Stufe di Nerone” thermal baths. This privilege was once reserved for the upper classes who could allow themselves the luxury of taking the time to take care of themselves and enjoy the benefits of thermal water and idleness, rather than being overwhelmed by constant work.This type of activity keeps the body young and the mind fresh, thanks to the evocative natural backdrop that characterises the Stufe. This ancient “treatment” has even recently been recognised by medical research
and the Stufe di Nerone thermal baths are very proud to be its safeguard.
The project of restiling the logo and of the statue of the Venus that stands out in the garden of the Stufe is here reproduced
in a monochromatic watercolor version. This choice, in addition to making the stretch "lighter" and current, also incorporates
the element "water" that characterizes the baths and is then repeated in all communication materials.
