Walworth Gardens- A Photo Story

The Walworth Gardens

As one enters, a small green patch called the Walworth Gardens, slightly away from the busy streets of London, they get to see people of different ages and walks of life. The space is best known for its community gardening services, houses a variety of plants and trees surrounded with peaceful spaces to experience a calmness that the city London rarely gives. With a small management team, the garden is frequented by a number of volunteers who are vulnerable adults, gardening enthusiasts, students among the others. From taking gardening classes to beginners to housing herbal medicine making workshops, from maintaining private gardens to bee keeping, the Gardens aims to provide a scent of fresh air that is scarcely seen amidst the hustle and bustle of the London City. Be it for a casual visitor who walks in for breath of fresh air or the students who come to learn about the plants, the experience to be surrounded by such lush greenery is not only a treat to your eyes but also awakens one's peaceful relationship with nature.
