Taking advantage of Infinise Go! by Philipp Antoni, I came up with the idea of rebranding
the logos of search engines used by this handy homepage alternative.
Aim:  Keep it friendly while pushing it to a more "techy/avant" era.

I started rebranding Google immediately (their previous logotype was still active, so a revamping seemed quite fair).
Just when I finished my approach, Google announced their official 2015 logo version (actual one). Twilight Zone? You bet.

Aim: To express the "open book" of knowledge that the site is, and the looped flow of information (inwards and outwards) through this supplementary animation. The idea was lurking in my head long time ago, but had no chance to bring it to life, until recently.
*For Youtube, the rebranding is merely focused on the animation.

Aim: Bring to life the sense of watching TV in the 20th century being just a kid (at the beginning of animation the angle is similar to the perspective adopted by most children when watching old screens sitting on the floor at close range, and the "shutdown" ending emulates the old TVs going off). Ahh, those were simpler times.

Aim: projecting continuous changes, real-time messaging and instant communication around the world.
Demo of Interaction:
Thank you for watching
