App Design
Typeface Memory Game is an iPhone 5 app for graphic designers or anyone who has an interest in typefaces. For the game, I wanted to utilize the flexibility of application in order to thoroughly elevate users’ knowledge of typefaces. The game allows users to choose the difficulty based on their own levels or needs. Hence, users can focus on comparing and recognizing the distinct shapes of each character. In addition, users can play along or challenge themselves with another player. I created the circle shape of the card to match the shape of human fingertips. After finishing the game successfully, users are able to learn the backgrounds of the typefaces by tapping the font.
