"A glimpse of life behind the Iron Curtain".

Soviet Visuals is a curated project dedicated to the exploration of cultural artefacts created during the Soviet Era. These artefacts range from soviet pop culture, propaganda, architecture, art, design and more. I was invited to create the logo identity for the brand. The aesthetics had to not only point to the Soviet era but in particular, the 'suprematism' art period.

Suprematism, founded by Kazimir Malevich in Russia, around 1913, is an art movement, focused on basic geometric forms, such as circles, squares, lines, and rectangles, painted in a limited range of colors.
