Utilizing scale, tone, orientation & isolation
Utilizing scale, tone, orientation & isolation
The concept behind this assignment was to explore principles of layout organization including: visual hierarchy in a typographic layout. Each student was assigned a typeface to work with. We were provided with copy text about our typeface, which we were to use as body text. In addition, we had to establish a headline containing the name of the typeface, year it was designed and a set of characters of the font. The composition had to be strictly typographic. Additionally, we were to work in black, white and any tints in-between.
