COURTHOUSE WAYFINDING

The ways of Justice
This project consisted of a proposal for the wayfinding system for the courthouse of Milan. For representing the complexity of the buliding structure, we used the metaphor of a city: the four cardinal points correspond to the four entrances of the structure, the main streets symbolize the corridors and their intersection delineate the squares. Accordingly, courtrooms have been identified as civic numbers and the judicial offices as districts.
