For our MDPHOTO (Basic Digital Photography for Multimedia Applications) final project, we were tasked to create a series of postcards and apply the skills and techniques we learned throughout the course.
We had the freedom of choosing any theme or topic for our photos, so I chose to use Russian dolls in portraying the feeling of isolation, or being out of place. My idea for this concept came from the Russian dolls I used, because I owned two sets of dolls in two different colors, green and red.
I used the same color for the backdrop as the dolls for a monochromatic theme. As for the photos, my professor did not
allow us to edit as she wanted to see our application of the different techniques she taught us in basic photography.
