The saying 'break a leg' is taking very seriously when it comes to roller derby and the opening bout between The Nuclear Nightmares and The Electro-Cuties is no exception. Broken Bones Rink's VIP invite prepared recipients to be front and center to the mayhem.
This 'assemble yourself' style of invitation is focused on the chaos of roller derby. No-one reads an invitation the same way anyways, so why not play off that idea?
Bits of information regarding the event are found scattered on Benny the Skeleton, leaving it up to the recipient to explore each piece. This was done to create a truly non-linear experience, and to practice skills in storytelling and uncontrolled message delivery.
