GRAPHIC DESIGN DELIVERABLES
Brochure Design, Postcard Design and Gifs made at my tenure at a design studio,
Ampersand Design.
BROCHURE
Ampersand Design, Gurgaon was looking forward to distribute their company brochure to prospective clients and friends. Therefore they were looking for a deliverable that best suits their identity and also has a quality of being a keepsake.
DESIGN CRITERIA
Ampersand represents a strategic design studio. Their branding showcases the follwoing word cloud :-
-Clean
-Basic
-Standard
-Hip
-Retro
-Retro
-Modern
-Distinctive
MOODBOARD
The moodboard was divided into five sections - Mood, Layout, Art Direction, Iconography, Printing Techniques. This was done so as to set benchmarks and look through different ideas that might go with the brand.
DESIGN ELEMENTS
For the visual language of the brochure as well as it’s cover, few 2D icons and 3D elements were created. These elements were picked up from digital softwares and represented the ‘basicity’ side of the brand. The idea was to represent both the sides of a digital design studio i.e. design and development.
BROCHURE COVER
Apart from designing the brochure for Ampersand, we converted the cover into a poster.
This was done so as to create a ‘keepsake’ of graphic design.
COVER DESIGN ELEMENTS
Following are the 3D elements curated for the cover. A mouse, umbrella and an 8-bit
cursor were made to show work-in-progress as well as represents Ampersand’s side
of contemporary design.
SOCIAL MEDIA GIFS
Since Ampersand was also launching their new website a few posts highlighting that on social media had to be formulated. A countdown was created for the same for a series of Instagram posts. Taking inspiration from their existing landing page, 8-bit butterflies were included to form a series of gifs.
