Real User Feedback Cycle Talk

Real User Feedback Cycle
I gave a talk at True Ventures' yearly True University in 2017.  The first section is about the real user feedback cycle.  The second part of the talk is about Scrappy Prototyping.
Over my 5 years at Athos we have constantly pushed the boundaries to develop groundbreaking products quickly and cheaply.  Not only do we develop garments with electronics integrated into them but we release new versions on a schedule closer to fast fashion companies like H&M, than the seasonal schedule of traditional garment retailers like the Gap.

One of the tricks that helps us develop so quickly is getting feedback from real users very early in development.  This may sound a bit counterintuitive since user testing takes a lot of time, but by getting user feedback on early prototypes we make sure that we never waste resources on products and features that users don't like and that when we do finally release a product it is one that users really want.
