In April 2012, I accompanied our lead evening anchor of WYFF News 4, Michael Cogdill, on a day trip to Washington D.C. to cover the emotional experiences that WWII veterans have when first viewing the memorails dedicated to them on the National Mall. Together, we storyboarded and produced this tearful and joyful documentary of their experience that day. I was responsible for shooting, editing, and cowriting this piece.
