"Logo" Design and Kerning Tables
This was a personal collaboration with an old colleague of mine, David Hudson. He's a fantastic web developer. During a conversation in which I was explaining the ins and outs of kerning and bemoaning it's absence from the web, David thought, "could we solve this with jQuery?" So, we gave it a shot. David developed it, and I set the kerning tables for the most common web fonts [read tons of hours of labor]. I also drew this "logo" and had some fun with copywriting.
