EN — Muma is branding for an imaginary museum in 2083. It stands for Museum Marie, and is therefore a museum about myself. I know, it's crazy! In this project I have made a catalogue that shows all my work throughout my career and that can be viewed in the museum.
I also have a kind of tribute to the inspiring city. I would say that in my life I have a big connection with the city. These can be found in the separate part of the catalogue, but also in a rebranding of the Union Jack, postcards and bag.
I dare to say that this project is one of the best I have ever made. It was a school assignment but I gave it my own twist and feel in such a way that it no longer felt like a 'mandatory' assignment.
NL — Muma is branding voor een denkbeeldig museum in 2083. Het staat voor Museum Marie, en is dus een museum over mezelf. I know, it’s crazy! In dit project heb ik een catalogus gemaakt waar al mijn werk doorheen mijn carrière in staat en dat dus ook te bezichtigen valt in het museum.
Daarnaast heb ik ook een soort van eerbetoon naar de inspirerende stad. Ik zou zo gezegd in mijn leven een grote band hebben met Londen. Deze vind je terug in het aparte deel van de catalogus, maar ook in een rebranding van de Union Jack, postkaartjes en zakje.
Ik durf te zeggen dat dit project een van de leukste is dat ik ooit heb gemaakt. Het was een schoolopdracht maar heb er toch zodanig mijn eigen draai en gevoel aan gegeven dat het niet meer als een ‘verplichte’ opdracht voelde.
