In my motion graphics class, I worked in After Effects through small exercises and taking it further into the projects that incorporated my knowledge from what was learned in class, assets made in Illustrator, and music.
Logo. Taking my logo along with some music and created a short clip to show viewers a little bit about me.
The two following clips below are exercises to experiment with size, scale, text, and effects.
Word Exercise. Choosing five different words to describe myself and bringing each word to life.
Exercise II. Practicing with size and shapes to create the Instagram icon.
The following four videos below are a series of sport clips. This clips would be seen in a bowling alley that would be shown on the screens to celebrate the victories during a game.
Bowling I. Strike
Bowling III. Split
Bowling II. Bowling Thunder
Bowling IV. Knock em Down
These next clips are more in-depth of taking the elements learned in class and applying those skills into the projects below:
Barn Scene. Building a scene by adding an element one part at a time to create this barn scene with an addition of some wondering chicklings.
Kinetic Type Project. Taking a scene from "Finding Nemo" I only used type with some very minor vector artwork to create the dialogue spoken from Dory.
Rice. An informative video on rice. What is it; how it is grown; and some quick facts.
