Land Art Installation

This work was exhibited in "Lost, Found and Eternal" Exhibition, developed by the workshop “Lost, Found and eternal”, Cairo, Egypt 2018.

The concept behind the work:
Although human is existing to live in a society but sometimes tends to be isolated and live in their own domain in an attempt to escape the pressures and conflicts surrounding them. This isolation may be a kind of spiritual or virtual communication. This mutual communication trend creates a state of interaction between the parties, whether social or self or others. This communication may help create a state of self-reflection in the human being and create a spiritual or virtual image.
Since the advent of the Internet era and the technological development we have been living in our lives, it has helped to create and accelerate communication between people. But the question is, "Can this kind of communication bring us closer to each other?"
In our lives, an imaginary mirage is in the desert and water. The individual deludes himself that his life is happy or sad or that he has many relationships, all of which may have good or bad results. As a result of globalization and technological development, the relationships of people have been transformed into intangible virtual relationships, yet many of us are fooled that he has a long list of virtual friends, socialize, but in fact, this is a kind of social deception. Life is full of things and events that we may see from away as beautiful and delightful, but when approaching or entering it we find a mirage of something and this mirage may be dangerous or cause problems for us.

The idea is to try to discover different worlds of man's relationship with himself, his Lord, and his community. Life revolves around us with many interactions and activities. A group of transparent green bottles is placed in the middle of the green grass in a regular interactive manner, representing the invisible and visual communication.
