Mama’s Kitchen is a premium Rice brand which focuses on minimalism — stripped back from distractions and reveal the raw nature of the product.
To market the grains, the packaging stock chosen is too made of rice paper. The paper is sturdy but thin, and when handled, delicate creasing will naturally form over time. With its imperfect creasing, the product acts as a token of the past to conjure personal experiences in their family kitchen.
This solution is eco friendly for mass production as the thin rice paper and swing tag is fully biodegradable. The die line uses A4 paper dimensions, preventing paper wastage.
Therefore the rich texture and tactility is appealing for the designer eye, or anyone who appreciates thoughtful packaging.
