This is my design for the plate project. I drew roses to show the kindness in me and that they are my favorite flower. I'm actually really proud of how the turned out! It's my favorite part of the whole piece! The lady in the middle is a symbol for my birth sign, Virgo. I kept her white so she can stand out. I keep the rest of the plate simple because I'm a simple person and I don't need much to make me happy. I thought I would make the background the same colors as the roses. I used chalk pastels for this picture. Although they were really messy, I think I would do this again and create a rose piece in the future.
