A personal project driven by a special someone’s love of the musical you just can’t escape. I painted Washington’s right-hand man throwing away his shot behind a favorite quote. The font choices reference both the theatre and handwriting reference convention and radical change, themes that are very applicable to the show itself. Paired with a gold Stardream paper (which by happy accident sparkles through the black), the poster feels appropriately star-studded and attention-grabbing. Young, scrappy and hungry indeed.
