As the Minor Spatial project for my BA (Hons) in Interior The Interior Design and Architecture I designed a working/reading/learning pod that can be used in schools, universities, large offices and libraries. 

In the busy urban space one is always exposed and accessible and privacy is becoming a rare concept. While some people can easily adapt and work productively while being surrounded by others in a noisy environment, most people opt for privacy when working, studying or reading.The pod provides a sense of privacy for its users and protects them from surrounding noises and distractions, creating a productive working environment in a public space.

The pods are environmentally friendly and recycable as they are made from cardboard and laser-cut aluminium. They can be used both as a single unit and in clusters, and the single unit accomodates 2-4 users.
