FINAL DESIGN PROJECT

THE HOPE IN A BURNING SOUL
My work reflects Frida Kahlo de Rivera, an artist was a Mexican artist who painted many portraits, self-portraits and works inspired by the nature and artifacts of Mexico.
Brief of Final Design Project
Her paintings are full of strong messages and bravery yet she carries a very fragile woman in her soul. The head ornament depicts that she was always very confident about what she painted. The thorns and dried grounds in her paintings depict her own life which was never smooth. All she needed was some sunlight, the light of hope and courage which was burning in her soul. She was a lady who is today an inspiration for everyone whose ambitious. After the aching thorns she bloomed into a beautiful flower. Death embraced her beautifully and left a mark on all of our minds.
In this fusion collection of prete wear, fusion of fitted-loose silhouette will be seen which will depict story of frida kahlo. Hue of red white green would show that how she comes out to be stronger beautifully after many accidents. The burning floral prints on velvet and oraganza would give a feel of translucency to opaque. Layered fabrics show turbulent relationship with her husband and life.
