Stage Design & Branding: Steel and Paint

Four designers [Natalie Chamli, Elcy Rizk, Rayan Abi Hamdan and I] in charge of designing a stage performance around experimental music.

We call the band ‘tanak w boya’ in Arabic means 'steel and paint' in reference to the instruments used to create the music and the crafty feel of the stage. The location of the performance was on an old, junky garage. All the materials used to design the set and play the music were found in backyards; ruined and used.
Work in progress: Making the posters manually
The posters made from recycled paper. The logo was stenciled and the other information were hand written
The promotional item given during the show. Reused aluminum cans with the logo stenciled on it. Put a couple of stones inside to create an instrument
Found old metal skeleton in which we cover with cloth to use as the base of our stage
Work in progress: Almost done with the stage design
Finally done
