OVERVIEW
THE CHALLENGE
Amazon Web Services (AWS) holds an annual conference in Las Vegas called re:Invent. We were tasked with redoing the app for the November 2017 conference.
MY ROLE
UX Lead: User experience design, client interviews and workshops, wireframes.
THE SOLUTION
Contextual home screen with time-relevant and personalized content. Content changes based on the conference timeline, so the user has different priorities before, during, and after the conference.
Before the conference, attendees want to be able to browse, search and filter the thousands of sessions in the session catalog.
From there, they can create a schedule of events and reserve their seat.
During the event they can explore the campus through venue details and maps, play the in-app game, and find events on the go.
