Samsung Repair | Online Service Concept

BRIEF
Cannes Future Lions 2018 entry
Connect an audience of your choosing to a product or service from a global brand in a way that wasn’t possible three years ago.
CONCEPT
Repair anything with 3D printing & generated tutorials
We answered this brief by creating a new service, Samsung Repair.
A web service for the people to repair their Samsung products, thanks to auto-generated tutorials and 3D printing.
The Idea is ambitious, but it would allow people not to throw away their devices because of a minor break. It would then be an occasion for Samsung to be more responsible, and take position against planned obsolescence.

Visual Identity
Being a service for people to repair their broken devices, we first wanted to create a friendly and peaceful mood, using patterns on an over all minimalistic website.

We thought about the logo in motion, it was made to be animated from the beginning. So we used the font Scandia to give it a playful feel and evoke the construction right away. The animation shows the logo being built, which is a way, again, to mirror what the service is all about.

Another big aspect of this service is also environmental, as it is a way to reduce overconsumption. We evoke this with the green and blue colors, that will be used on the logo and throughout the website as accents.

How it works
Select your Samsung product

Help us find where the problem comes from
