In an effort to provoke the viewer, my visual imagery attempts to uncover the opaque ambivalence and unseen states of consciousness that constitute the socio-cultural and geo-political segregation in our present world. The canvas transforms into an ineffable zone of conflicts, contradictions, denials and darkness that represents the obscure and shrouded marks of our divided existence.

Through layers of subliminal codes that express concerns around the concept of mortality and the temporal nature of life, the disguised self is revealed as a metaphorical depiction of existence, evolution and emancipation in a vicious cycle of life.
