This pencil drawing features trompe l’oeil, which means “fool the eye.”  However, I liked it as a pencil sketch, and never went back to create the piece in color.  I used Yahtzee game parts to design a still life.  I then drew the top view image.  I added many details, especially shadows to create the trompe l’oeil effect.
