After visit of the exhibit "Mission Mode" at Château Borély in Marseille, that retracing the influences from a military dressing in civil fashion.
The saharan is a belted canvas jacket, w/ short-sleeves, a front opening buttoning, so light as functional & inspired by the military uniform.

>> Making vision of the saharan jacket in sporty chic style, mixed w/ the main codes of Chanel :
     opposed colors (dark-light), mixed & contrasting materials, straight cut, braid & fringe.
>> Worked on the pockets function.
>> Used the super trendy Prince of Wales fabric, instead of the classical Tweed.
>> Followed the fashion of flounces and cold shoulder.
>> Tribute to Coco Chanel (camellia, pearl necklace).
>> Leatherette flowers cutout, khaki lace & cotton twill.
