OAT Annual Awards Ceremony 2018 took place on Thursday 15 March 2018 and was attended by 180. The event is a celebration of all OAT Academies across the UK, and showcases the achievements of the staff and pupils. 

The awards was a great success, and it was an insightful opportunity to propel my design, work in a very fast paced environment and to participate in all aspects to make it run smoothly.

As part on the Marketing Team, we curated and organised My role as the designer led me to create the art deco theme, this was derived from the performance of Bugsey Malone that we had on the night.

Communications surrounding our event were produced and circulated to all attendee’s. I produced the menu which was circulated prior to the evening via email PDF, and then printed and present on the tables during the ceremony.

To make the event special for our award winners, we sent them a ‘Willy Wonka’ style golden ticket. To do this, I had to address costings and materials to see what was realistic. I arranged with a supplier to have this printed on gold card.
