SCM stands for Source Code Manager; it is an application with similar functionalities as CVS and handles all source code versions for all maintained releases of Dassault Système's products, such as Catia, Delmia, Enovia, etc ...

 

Everyday, software engineers all around the world write code, correct bugs and enhance these fine pieces of software thus writting a new version of the code. In order to ensure this code corresponds to certain rules and standards, and is bug-free (yes, there is such a term); Production Tools team put together scenarios and sets of tools to perform tests on each and every single bit of new code in SCM.

 

This intranet shows, amongst other indicators and tools, the time spent for every one of these tests, for each and every one of the maintained releases of those products.

 

This was accomplished using Perl, Shell, Php, MySQL and HTML/CSS.
