Highway Rat Animation Reel
The highway rat is a short film adaptation of the Julia Donaldson book "The highway rat" that we made at Triggerfish Animation Studios in 2017. Produced by Magic light pictures for the BBC Christmas special and directed by Jeroen Jaspaert.
These are some the shots I animated. I also modeled the rat, mouse and rabbit \:D/
The highway rat was a tricky character to find as he is a baddie but still needs to be likable. I loved having the excuse to eat cup cakes all day for reference.
